The TOOLS Hub
From Home, tap TOOLS to open the hub for professional workflows. You will see four tiles:
- Test Kitchen - All recipes marked in development (Test Kitchen in the editor). Same list you use when iterating on dishes before they are finalized.
- Menus - Build menus for an event or service: add dishes, set covers (portions) per item, and open a consolidated shopping list.
- Shopping Lists - Jump to aggregated lists for every menu you have created (the same data as the Shopping list inside each menu).
- Cookbook - Recipes you mark with Include in Cookbook in the editor. Use this curated set with Export Cookbook in Settings > Backup.
Footnote on the hub explains that menus use live recipe data, shopping totals respect covers versus each recipe's base servings, and lists stay in sync when you edit a recipe.
Menus
In Menus, tap + to create a menu. In the editor you can set the name, description, optional event date, and notes.
On the menu detail screen:
- Dishes - Add recipes from your library. Each line can carry a course order and covers so the app knows how many portions to plan for.
- Shopping list - Opens the aggregated list. Ingredients from all dishes are combined and scaled using covers and each recipe's serving count.
- Toolbar menu (⋯) - Edit menu info, Export menu as PDF, Export menu as text, or Remove menu.
Menu Shopping List Exports
From a menu's shopping list screen, use the share control to export:
- Plain text
- CSV
Shopping Lists (Hub)
Shopping Lists lists your menus so you can open any menu's aggregated list quickly without drilling into Menus first.
Cookbook & Backup
Toggle Include in Cookbook in the Recipe Editor for recipes that belong in a curated export bundle. In Settings > Backup > Export, use Export Cookbook to share only those recipes as JSON. Full-library backup is still under Save Backup File. See Sharing, Export & Backup for restore limits and file naming.
